For the love of food

We'll start with the most important topic at hand :P The food in Paris was amazing. Most of the food I ate was from the Monoprix down the street. Fresh fruits and vegetables (all products of France), fresh baguettes, cheese, fresh eggs. We would get just enough for the next day or two and shop every other day. That way your food really is fresh. There are also a million bakeries, cafes, ice cream shops, creperies, and restaurants with all kinds of different things to offer.

Food that I had in Paris: chocolate filled croissants, Lauduree macarons (pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate), curry chicken and cheese galette, gelato (pistachio and speculoos), nutella crepes, quiche lorraine,  toblerone ice cream, toffee crepe, praline ice cream, salmon and spinach quiche, chocolate eclair, ham cheese and tomato panini, brie, gouda, apple pastry and lots of Bueno bars and Haribo Croco gummies. So basically, I ate my way through Paris. Best idea ever.

{grocery shopping!!!}
[only 9 euros]

{first dinner: fresh baguette and brie}

{salted caramel macaron}

{Amorino gelato}

{toffee crepe}

{toblerone ice cream at Sacre Coeur}

{Praline ice cream from Berthillon}

{chocolate eclair}

{ham, cheese, and tomato panini}

{Haribo croco gummies}
[aka best gummies ever]

-Best Creperie: La Creperie de Josselin,  67 Rue du Montparnasse, Metro: Edgar Quinet
-Best Bakery: Coquelicot, 27 Rue de Abbesses, Metro: Abbsses
-Best Ice Cream: Berthillon, 31 Rue Saint-Louis en I'lle, Metro: Pont Marie
-The narrow streets around the Fountain of Saint-Michel in the Latin District have great gyros and I also found the best nutella crepes there- they put butter on it first and then nutella- so good.
-Best Candy: the above mentioned gummies and Bueno bars. You have not lived until you have tried Bueno bars. They're made by Kinder and are full of hazelnut and chocolate-y goodness. I had so many...

I miss it already. Right now we're in Belgium, so I still have a bit of catching up to do. Slowly but surely.
